* Add – woocommerce_distance_rate_shipping_sslverify filter, for the rare host that cannot verify Google's certificate.
* Fix – Verify SSL certificates on requests to the Google APIs, so the API key and address data they carry can no longer be read or changed in transit.
* Fix – A failed request to the Google APIs no longer causes a fatal error on the cart and checkout; the shipping method is simply not offered.
* Fix – The API key connection test now reports when Google cannot be reached at all, instead of rendering nothing.

The `fedex_dismiss_freight_credentials_notice` AJAX action is deprecated and will be removed in 4.9.0; existing dismissals are migrated automatically.
