Set Up WooCommerce Product Subscriptions
Install the WooCommerce Subscriptions Plugin and set up recurring payments in your WordPress site in just a few simple steps.
- Install and Enable the WooCommerce Subscriptions Plugin.
- Configure the settings for the WooCommerce subscriptions plugin.
- Add a new subscription.
Download the plugin file and using the WP-Admin go to Plugins -> Upload Plugin and select the zip file. Then Activate the plugin once it is installed to enable it.
Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Subscriptions and click to configure your settings for the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. You will need to configure your subscription period, rate, initial charge, shipping fee (if applicable), discounts, etc. Check the documentation for help with any settings you are unsure about.
Go to Products -> Add New and click Add New Product and select the Subscription type to add a new product with an option to subscribe. This will initialize the WooCommerce subscriptions form when a customer clicks Purchase and will automatically set up the billing profile for recurring payments based on the payment gateway you have set up.
