Create Courses

This is an overview of how to create courses with WPspring for LearnDash Plugin. View the documentation in this section for more details.

Creating a course with WPspring for LearnDash Plugin is fairly straightforward and user-friendly. However, ‘Topics’ aren’t quite as intuitive as one might expect, especially ordering them.


To create a course follow these steps:

Add the ‘Course’ – Give the course a name and define settings.

Add ‘Topics’ which can be added to Lessons – Optional. Topics can be used to organize your actual course content. Add Topics from LearnDash LMS > Topics > Add New in admin navigation. Each topic can be assigned to ONE Course or Course Lesson.

Add course content – Do this by adding ‘Lessons’ or ‘Quizzes.’ Lessons and Quizzes are assigned to a Course from their respective pages using “Associated Course”. Once assigned, all content related to a Course will show up in a handy ‘Associated Content’ panel on the Course edit page.

Make the Course visible – All you need to do is ‘publish’ your course from the Course page! Courses are automatically added to the Course Catalog page (http://yoursite.com/courses/).
