Many businesses want to only show their pricing to users who are logged in. WooCommerce Catalog Visibility Options Extension lets you disable prices for users who have not logged in and been authenticated.
Why would a site want to require users to log in in order to see prices? Here’s an example:
A business wants to hide pricing from its competitors. In this case, the company probably wants the option to approve new users after confirming the user is a legit customer. If the business cannot verify the user is a ‘real’ person and likely customer, they can opt not to approve the user registration thereby preventing that user from seeing their prices.
This can be done by combining WP Approve User Plugin (registration requires admin approval) with WooCommerce Catalog Visibility Options (hide pricing until a user is logged in). Voila! Competitive research just got a bit tougher.
