WooCommerce Shipment Tracking Plugin: Why You Need It
Shipment tracking is a must-have for any professional ecommerce site. With WooCommerce Shipment Tracking Plugin, your customers will have access to tracking information for their orders in all the following places:
- Order view page (“My Account”)
- Order tracking page
- Emails
A look at adding Shipment information from the back end:
Select a Provider: Choose the shipping company your shop uses. Provider not listed? No problem! Select ‘Custom Provider’!
Add the Tracking Number: This is the tracking number that your shipping provider has assigned. If your company needs to use the ‘custom provider’ option, you’ll need to enter the full link to the shipping company’s tracking page.
Choose a Shipping Date: You can choose to enter the date when the customer’s package was shipped.
Change Order Status and Save Tracking: A good practice is to change the order status to ‘Complete’ before saving. This will trigger the ‘Completed Order’ email with the shipment tracking code to be sent to the customer.
WooCommerce Shipment Tracking Plugin offers built-in support for custom tracking links as well as automatic links from the following shipping companies:

- TNT Express (consignment)
- TNT Express (reference)
- Fedex
