Tracking Gravity Forms with Google Analytics

Many of you use Google Analytics to gather important marketing and interaction data for your websites.

How can you apply Google Analytics to a Gravity Form?

By far the easiest way to gather information about how customers use gravity forms on your site is to implement Gravity Form’s ‘page confirmation’ for each gravity form you create. Then, when a user submits Form X, they are redirected to the ‘confirmation page’ for Form X and Google Analytics tracks a visit to the confirmation page.

So, create a custom confirmation page for each form and then assign that page to be the confirmation page via ‘select a page’ under ‘Form Settings’…

Then, in Google Analytics, create a ‘Goal Type: URL Destination’ and insert the url to the confirmation page for Form X.

Voila!
