What’s new in WooCommerce Product Bundles Download, Version 5.8.0 Released on October 8, 2018?

There are ALOT of important new features and fixes in this update.

Note: Single-product page styles have been udpated. You’ll need to review customizations and integrations before updating live sites! Also, if you are using Storefront, you will need to update to version 2.3.4 or above.

New features include…

Rolled the “Bundle-Sells” mini-extension into Product Bundles. Offer “Frequently Bought Together” recommendations and add optional items to any product from ‘Product Data > Linked Products > Bundle-Sells’.
Added “Grid” layout.
It is now possible to configure the contents of a Bundle in editable/manually-created orders.
When adding a Bundle to an order manually, bundled items are added automatically after the parent item if the Bundle doesn’t require any configuration.
Added support for Product Bundles in Composite Products’ REST API order requests.
Improved the way Product Bundles are displayed in the cart widget to include configuration data.
Improved single-product page styling.
Print Invoices and Packing Lists integration improvements. Product Bundles purchased in Composite Products are now displayed correctly in Invoices, Packing Lists and Pick Lists.
Admin maintenance/compatibility notices now have a “native” WooCommerce look and can be dismissed using the native WordPress flow.

Fixed: Show bundled product weight/dimensions in the ‘Additional Information’ tab.
Fixed: Validation of bundled variation attribute names/options when adding bundles to orders via the REST API.
Fixed: Cart table layout issues on mobile devices affecting bundled items that are not Priced Individually.
Fixed: Failing to set catalog price cache.
Fixed: Added support for WooCommerce Subscriptions’ new “up-front” payment option for synchronized subscription products.
