Gravity Form Lead Capture: Contextual Email Routing

The ability to add conditional logic to a field is one of the great features in Gravity Forms.

Let’s say you’ve created a lead capture form letting users inquire about a specific product of interest to them. Conditional logic lets you, for instance, ask a lead to choose the software product they are interested in ONLY if they have selected the option ‘Software’ in another form field. This helps keep the form short, simple with options contextual to the lead’s interest.

But, to streamline lead followup, Gravity Forms also offers contextual email routing.

This means when your lead submits a form, notification that the form has been submitted will go to a different email address depending on the lead’s form selections. (Ex: Any time a lead has selected ‘Software’ as the product of interest, an email goes to Employee Bob for followup. If the leads selects ‘Hardware,’ the email goes to Employee Sue…)

So…

Gravity Forms Lead Capture: How to Configure Contextual Email Routing

Go to ‘Forms’ in the menu, then choose the form you want to configure email routing for.

Then go to Form Settings > Notifications > Send To

Choose ‘Configure Routing’ to set up your conditional logic!
