This is an overview of how to create courses with the WPspring for WooCommerce Sensei LMS Plugin. View the documentation in this section for more details.
Creating a course with WPspring for WooCommerce Sensei LMS Plugin is straightforward and user-friendly.
To create a course with WPspring for WooCommerce Sensei LMS Plugin, you will follow these steps:
Add the ‘Course’-Give the course a name and define settings.
Add ‘Modules’ and ‘Modules’ to the Course-Optional. Modules are topics that you can use to organize your actual course content. Add Modules from either the Course page or from Courses > Modules in admin navigation.
Add course content – Do this by adding ‘Lessons.’ Quizzes are added as ‘Lessons’ too, but just include Quiz Questions and Quiz Settings. Lessons are assigned to a Course from the Lesson page. Once assigned, there is a link to edit the Lesson from the Course Page.
Make the Course visible – All you need to do is ‘publish’ your course from the Course page! Courses are automatically added to the Course Catalog page (http://yoursite.com/courses/). The Course Catalog page is installed automatically when you follow the WPspring for WooCommerce Sensei LMS Plugin Setup process.
Similarly, WPspring for WooCommerce Sensei LMS Plugin automatically installs a /my-courses page which should automatically display all courses a user is currently enrolled in.
Automatically installed pages don’t seem to be working?
If you don’t see content on /courses or /my-courses, this is due to the shortcode not populating properly on those pages. We’ve noticed this usually happens if you’ve previously had a different LMS plugin installed.
No problem! You can simply add the shortcode yourself to these pages.
On the /my-courses page, add the following shortcode:
[sensei_user_courses]
On the /courses page (or whereever you’d like the Course Catalog to display), simply add:
[sensei_courses]
